City officials outraged - people are sharing books?!??
It has come to city officials attention that people in Los Angeles and Shreveport, La., have created their own homemade lending libraries where residents of the community can share books.
According to LA Times there's a growing concern over this kind of blatant disregard for the law as told by the city officials. People with the community libraries there have been asked to remove or relocate their small book collections. Nobody wants to read anyway these days, plus if you really want to share your book with your neighbours, you need to pay! Be it for permit for the mini-mini-mini library, be it for appealing your case in court, or I wouldn't be surprised if copyright guys came out on the street soon for demonstrations against the 10-book libraries that don't pay any copyright fees for sharing the books.
If this kind of blatant disregard for the law would be to continue, we might have to petition Trump to do something about it.
