Some Like Them Young

Some like them young.


Certainly Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi likes them young. He was said to have gone to a 18th birthday party of a girl he had known for a numbers of years in order to 'have his cake'. Having had his cake, his wife is now divorcing him for cavorting with minors.

Now however, there is a fresh 'Oh dear' for the Italian Prime Minister. He has been accused of bribery and corruption. Oh Dear indeed.


Another one who likes them young. In in the Australian State of New South Wales we have the case of former Minister John Della Bosco. Dear John had an affair with a 26-year old which, in its own right, would be a totally private matter and thus not be of public interest.

However, since he continued to mouth off to the woman that he wanted to depose Premier Nathan Rees it so became an issue of public interest, causing his resignation as a Minister.

And Della Bosca is still trying to become Premier but his chances are now zero.

So for poor John it will be a case of assisting his wife 'do you know who I am' Belinda Neill with her anger management classes.


And then there are those who like them real young.
Came across an Australian website recently called "Bravehearts" recently.

It lists Australian child sex abuse cases whereby members of the clergy, mainly catholic clergy, have been accused of and/or convicted of abusing children within their constituency or parishes.

The efforts by the various Australian churches to hide offences, buy off victims, or otherwise protect the offenders makes fascinating reading. No doubt, there are such listings in other parts of the world as well.

It goes to show that religions, cults and other such organizations are to a large extend unaccountable in the majority of their dealings with parishioners. That needs to change and rapidly.

Those convicted of these offences must be jailed for a long time as should those who assist these grubs to hide these offences, hello Cardinal George Pell, go to jail for perverting the cause of justice.

It just goes to show that for those who wish to practice their religion it might be wise to protect their children from men of religion as there may be pedophile hiding underneath that frock.
